Another favourite Mhairi's book to add to the list 📚

(Well, the favourites list looks more like her list of work tbh)🤷🏽‍♀️We have all been here before, right? Gobbled up a book in one night and then left feeling bereft the next day? While I gasped, giggled, sighed, and thoroughly enjoyed a sleepless night reading this book, I so wished I had taken my time... oh well, I look forward to the many rereads🤓

'You Belong With Me' is a wonderful, funny, emotional follow up to 'Who’s That Girl?' If you fell in love with Edie and Elliot, well you’re not going to be disappointed! Elliot went up a notch in our books (how is that even possible?!😍) but this book is all Edie. The first glance of the synopsis left me thinking, “Oh no, there’s another dude in the picture? Whyyyy…” but Mhairi surprises us yet again. The story really doesn’t go at all the way you think it is going to go and I was delighted to get it wrong every time✨

Without giving anything away (it’s still early days and sharing my favourite quotes from the book here will reveal a lot!), so let’s leave it by saying it’s clever, witty, surprising, moving, and I am already jealous of you lot who get to read it for a first time 💖
