Our favourite thing to do is read and discuss books. And when we meet, exchange books. So in that spirit, we decided to start WeSayBibliolater, just to celebrate some of our favourite books and perhaps discuss some of our not-so-favoured ones. This is not meant to be a critical review because we are not equipped to do that! We hope you enjoy this space for what it is, an unsolicited sharing of our thoughts on books.
What's with the name?
Bibliolater
We love books. It’s that simple. No matter the type or genre, books are the best. You get to learn so much about the human condition and temporarily live in some wonderful, fantastical worlds. And when we get into those worlds and characters, we forget our reality for those few hours or days (depending on the book, of course). So when we came across this word, it just seemed apt.

Book-bosomed
A phrase first coined by the Scottish novelist, Sir Walter Scott, really stuck with us. Whether we have time to read or not, we always carry a book with us because it’s comforting. You know, like when you go on a hike but you carry a book? Why, so we can walk and read? No, obviously that’s not practical. But we carry one anyway. Because… is there better company than a book.
